in my mod,there are alot of rocks in the water to be cleared from the sheogorad regions, but when i clear them, there is still a black circle where they were. i beleive that this is vertex shading. the problem is, that most od these places where a black sploth is, are to be in open feilds. I cant have an open feild with big black splotches in it!
so my question is, how am i supposed to clear these big splotches away?
It took me a long time to figure this out, but here's what you do:
1. Open up the landscape editting window and select the edit colors box in the vertex coloring section towards the bottom.
2. Set either of the color boxs (there are two, the left one corresponds to your left mouse button, and the right to your right) 255 255 255 for RGB settings.
3. Paint over the dark areas with your 255 255 255 settings; this will "erase" any vertex painting that is there.
